Frequently Asked Questions:
How do I assemble my piece?
Assembly is simple! Select the length of screw that you need to use based on your table top thickness. Diameter of our mounting holes is 1/4". Simply screw through the mounting holes to connect your table legs to the underside of your table top.
Which leg should I choose? / How much weight can my legs take?
We recommend 3 rod hairpin legs as well as all of our other table leg designs for all tables larger than 30x60 and heavier than 75lbs.
What type of screws do I need?
Screw length will be determined by the thickness of your table top. Select the longest screw you can find that will not puncture the table top.
Example: table top: 1" - select 3/4" screw length
The mounting hold we use on our mounting plates is 1/4" dia.
If I order a pair of raw steel legs and would like to paint them - what’s the best way to do this?
Painting your raw steel legs is not only a great way to add a splash of color but also to prevent rust. Clean any dust and oil off of your legs. We suggest lacquer thinner or mineral spirits. Apply the paint to the legs. We recommend multiple coats with time to dry between coats.
Will my legs rust? Can I use these legs for outdoor furniture?
Raw Steel will rust if left untreated. We offer a few powder coated options OR you can apply your own rust protection at home.
